I feel so blessed that my friend Carol asked me to take pictures of her newest little one. Natalie was wide awake and alert for the entire shoot. At only 4 days old, it was amazing to see her blue eyes. I am sure this beauty will be doted on by her parents and her big brother.

While making a quick stop through at my in-laws' house on our way to Minnesota, I was able to meet my newest nephew, David John. This little boy is all daddy. Although he didn't love being outside to have his picture taken, I enjoyed snuggling him to sleep later on.

One of my dear friends just had her third beautiful child. At only two weeks old he is already so big and couldn't be convinced to sleep for his photo session. He insisted on not missing one thing. So don't be fooled by the pictures with his eyes close, he's only blinking at just the right moment. He is such a wonderful addition to an already amazing family.

I volunteered to take pictures of my lovely friend Kristi to celebrate her first baby and to document her baby bump. Her husband Lee got to join in on the fun evening at the Park of Roses. These two are going to make wonderful parents and I am thrilled for them. This is already one well loved and prayed for little boy.

I was asked by my friend to take pictures for her son Joshua's first birthday party. Born at only 24 weeks, Joshua is a true miracle. As his mom said:

"Joshua is a SUPER smiley, always on the move (kicking, bouncing, army crawling, rolling) little boy! He claps, he laughs, he babbles baba, dada, mama, he likes to grab and pull at your face. He rocks on his knees, eats baby food, and loves his wubbanub pacifier. Did I mention he is a SUPER happy boy?! I believe he is so happy because God gave him a chance at life. Joshua's happiness helps remind me not to wallow in my sorrows of what could have been or concerns I still have, but be thankful for every smile and snuggle that I am blessed with! Praise God from whom all blessings flow!"
